The content marketing strategy that I use is fairly simple and easy, but it does take some time. I wanted to share with you what is working for me. Attraction Marketing...
If you've been marketing online for any time at all you have probably come across this phrase. You really need to understand and embrace this concept if you want to be able to move forward in your marketing efforts.
Here's how it works...
We are all naturally attracted to people that are accomplished. People that have done what we want to be able to do. Rich people, Famous people, leaders of industry etc. For example... I am a fan of Donald Trump. I think what he has done is amazing. I also like him because he has a certain "flair" to him... A certain Style.
Because I like Donald Trump, if he writes an article, or buys a company, or does something, I like to keep up. I have read his books, and I have put a couple of his ideas into practice into my own life.
This is attraction marketing. Donald Trump didn't actively seek me out and say "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!!!", I looked for him because I was impressed with what he has done.
Because he is not "selling me" anything, I am much more likely to listen to what he has to say, and maybe implement it into my business.
Its the same thing for online attraction marketing. This is part of a content marketing strategy to grow your business.
Lets say you create widgets. If you go door to door trying to sell your widgets, you may make some mild progress. However by taking this content marketing strategy online,you could turn the sales funnel upside down.
Here is how you turn the sales funnel upside down with content marketing.
Let's say that you know about your widgets better than anyone else. After all you created it, built it, designed it or came up with the idea for it. This makes you an expert about the widget.
Now what you have to do is create some content about your widget. Content is online video, audio, or an article that you could put online. It's basically "show and tell" online.
Show me why your content will solve a problem. Tell me why your widget will help me. Tell me how you use your widget in everyday life. Tell me why you made the widget...

Create the content. Write and article or shoot a video that addresss one of the issues above.
Distribute the content. By having a good distribution network your content can get "out there" and propagate the internet.
Give people a way back to you. If they want to know more about you or your widget, what should they do, where should they go?
